Amsterdam Protective transparent colourless gloss varnish for acrylic paintings. 75ml (2.5 fl.oz.). Amsterdam Talens, Holland
Composition:
Acrylic resin, white spirit, turpentine.
Final varnish for a durable protection of acrylic paintings.
Does not yellow.
Removable.
Quick-drying.
Thinnable with white-spirit.
Before applying clean down with a rag and white spirit.
Clean brushes with white spirit.
Warnings:
Irritant.
Dangerous for the environment.
Flammable.
Conforms to ASTM D 4236.

Violtan Notes:
- We have tested this varnish on our stained-glass window.
It gives smooth gloss surface - as layer of thin glass above painting.
Touch-dry time above 2 hours.
We have cleaned surface with water and soap and dry it before varinsh,
because of cleaning with white-spirit can damage painting on glass.
But this varnish insufficient to protect against scrabbles.
Clean up varnished surface with water only.
